30 October: late registration ends 28 October: registration closed; reached max. capacity

31 October: replies to authors – all submissions can be presented as posters

18 November: tutorials, first-come first-served, limit 160 participants

Theme and scope of conference

“Bioinformatics as a growth engine for ___ (your favourite country here)”

We will ask invited speakers to include one slide on this topic

Location (Thessalonica, Greece)

Main venues: Vergina amphitheatre, Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (Fri/Mon) and Noesis conference center, very near to CERTH (Sat/Sun)

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Call for papers

Papers should be up to 5 pages, single-spaced and set in 12 point type, including title, abstract, figures, tables, and bibliography

First page should give keywords, postal and electronic mailing addresses, telephone, and fax numbers

No format requirements for the submitted paper, in editable formats please

Tutorials

Pre-conference day (18-Nov-2016) will be devoted to tutorials

Four tutorials will be kindly offered – free of additional charge – on a first-come, first-served basis

Tutorials on IMG, MicroScope, EBI Metagenomics, MG-RAST, Ensembl will be provided

Open poster session

The poster session is open to anybody who would like to present a poster

Posters will not be published – however if an abstract is submitted before October 21st, it will be included in the conference booklet

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration fees

Early registration fee: 40 Euros (students: 20 Euros)

Late registration fee: 60 Euros (students: 30 Euros)

Sponsors: industrial participants who would like to support the conference, with 500 Euros

We will arrange for local transport between the conference hotels and CERTH for invited speakers
